Description
The EFGC-145 mulch mower stands out with its especially robust construction, featuring a specially reinforced angular gearbox that sets it apart in terms of durability and operational excellence. Designed for versatility, it excels as both a mulch mower and a flail mower.
With a substantial mowing width of 142 cm, this flail mower is PTO-driven, and the power take-off is included as part of the delivery. This comprehensive design ensures efficient and effective operation for various mowing needs.
The mower unit is equipped with the most heavy-duty gearbox in its class, setting it apart from units equipped with lighter Y blades. The heavy hammer blades and substantial shaft generate high inertia, allowing the machine to deliver superior performance.
Featuring 24 specially hardened, 0.8 kg hammer blades arranged on a double spiral drive shaft, this mower efficiently shreds clippings to a minimum size. Its robust design ensures it can handle even very high grass, bushy, or straw-like clippings with ease. This makes it a powerful and reliable choice for various mowing tasks.
The mulcher is enhanced with additional features, including a trailing roller and a freewheel gearbox, optimizing its functionality.
Maintenance work or changing of hammer blades is made easier due to the open rear bonnet. It’s important to note that the bonnet must be closed while operating for safety reasons.
The cutting height is adjustable using the top controller and side-mounted runners. To prevent stones from escaping, suspended, galvanized slats are installed at the front of the mower unit.
For convenient attachment to your tractor, the mower unit utilizes the three-point linkage (from Cat. I upwards).
