Description
The mower unit is equipped with the most heavy-duty gearbox in its class, distinguishing it from units equipped with lighter Y blades. Its superior performance is attributed to the high inertia generated by the heavy hammer blades and robust shaft.
With 36 specially hardened, 0.8 kg hammer blades arranged on a double spiral drive shaft, this mower efficiently shreds clippings to a minimum size. Its design ensures effective handling of even very high grass, bushy, or straw-like clippings, making it a versatile and powerful choice for various mowing applications.
The mulcher is designed for convenient maintenance, providing easy access for tasks such as changing hammer blades, thanks to its open rear bonnet. It’s crucial to note that the bonnet must be closed during operation for safety reasons.
Additional features enhance its functionality, including a trailing roller and a freewheel gearbox. The cutting height is easily adjustable using the top controller and side-mounted runners. To prevent stones from escaping, the mower unit is equipped with suspended, galvanized slats at the front.
Attachment to your tractor is facilitated through the three-point linkage (from Cat. I upwards). For optimal performance, it is recommended that your tractor has a minimum power of 50HP, ensuring sufficient power for efficient and effective mowing operations.

Upon receipt, it's essential to note that the gearbox is delivered dry and requires filling with oil (80W90, approximately 1 litre) before use. Properly lubricating the gearbox ensures optimal performance and longevity of the equipment.
